"Wink is a Tutorial and Presentation creation software, primarily aimed at creating [flash] tutorials on how to use software."

How well it works - well, it does work smoothly, mostly. It installs perfectly.
I havn't used it extensivly but have noticed that it crashes out sometimes. The main problem though, and one that I sort of expected, is that you cant use the screenshot facility (which is fundamentally necessary to realistically use the application) to take shots of an area of the screen, nor a specific window.
Taking shots of the entire screen however does work - IF you have the wink screenshot window (input) focused when you hit the PAUSE key (which triggers the screenshot).
Wink would be very useful to have functional as it is a free (as in beer) application for creating flash tutorials, while there are other packages (even Linux ones) for doing this, they are not free. It also seems on the surface that there isn't much to do to make Wink fully functional.
