An image of a newly-booted fresh installation of Virtual Risc PC Adjust-SA (RISC OS emulator) running in full-screen mode on a MacBook, using the native resolution of the screen (1280x800). In the current version of CrossOver (6.0.0b3) the emulator cannot be used in windowed mode (there are too many display and interface problems, and it is exceptionally slow); however, in full-screen mode it works acceptably well (though still very slowly). In this screenshot, note the four-pixel-wide column at the right-hand edge of the screen; this should not be visible in full-screen mode, but is; moving the mouse pointer into this area causes the entire screen to scroll sideways by four pixels (and, conversely, the left-hand edge of the screen scrolls the opposite way). This is only a minor glitch and doesn't really affect performance.
Virtual Risc PC emulates 32-bit ARM-based Acorn-compatible computers running various versions of the RISC OS operating system.
This is a serious emulator (i.e. not one designed just for nostalgia/games) which people use for real work.
