Use in full-screen mode!
After launching the emulator, you may or may not see some portion of a usable display in the desktop window. Even if a display is visible, the emulator is likely to be much too slow to be usable, and there are also too many display and interface glitches for Virtual Risc PC to be used in windowed mode. However, just press Alt-Enter (Command-Enter) to toggle the emulator into full-screen mode. It then works very much better, with few glitches and at an acceptable speed. It's still too slow to be very useful, but is acceptable for light duties.
