Microsoft Word 97 Tips

This is not really a tip, but just a report that I have created several types of pages, with various extras such as different formats, texts, colors, tables and html. So far I found that the program performs normally and also prints as expected with no difficulty in accessing my printer. I will continue to test, and report any irregularities or genuine tips. As I noted in the general comments section, CrossOver initially reported that my installation of Word 97 was not successful, when in fact it was. I think this was due to a couple of minor font error (fonts that could not be installed) which ran during installation, but this really presented no problem, as CrossOver created a folder and put the start-up and app icons in it. These also appear on the CrossOver drop-down menu under Programs, making access very easy. I was pleased with the result. Tested and Performs on CrossOver 6.2 and 6.2.1. After downloading Crossover 7, I deleted my original Win 98 bottle and re-installed Word 97, this time with no errors at all. Performance has continued to improve, and is now quite good with CrossOver 12.2 Pro now running on Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Please note that since upgrading to Mavericks 10.9.4, this program is apparently no longer supported.
