I have edited Igor Engraver's key bindings to use Ctrl+F1 ... F8 for chromatically half-step raised notes, and Alt+F1 ... F9 (except F4) for lowered notes. This is to avoid the console screen key commands in Linux (Ctrl+Alt+function key) and to have a more uniform key command structure in Igor Engraver. In this way, only the quite uncommon note F flat (or the less uncommon F natural, if F sharp occurs earlier in the bar) is not accessed with its expected function key because Alt+F4 is hard-coded to close windows. I use Alt+F9 instead of Alt+F4 for inputting an F flat (or F natural).
