Computer keyboard input mode does not work in CrossOver 16.0.0 Beta on Debian 8 but generates this error message instead which forces you to restart Igor Engraver.
Crossover 10.1.0
The tiny window in the center called Select Window becomes visible when pressing Ctrl+Tab with multiple Igor Engraver windows in use. By pressing Tab repeatedly with Ctrl depressed one switches between the different Igor Engraver windows. However, this doesn't work in Igor Engraver with CrossOver 10.1.0.
Crossover 10.1.0
Altering the window settings in KWin for one Igor Engraver window affects
all Igor Engraver windows, so if one wants the piece window maximized by
default, the note input window will also be maximized -- which is not
practical at all -- just as this screenshot shows.
Crossover 10.1.0
Sometimes Igor Engraver crashes when opening a document. When that happens it is not unusual that it is repeated two times if one immediately tries to re-open the document. The fourth attempt is then normally successful. This is the dialog window shown.

When clicking Recover in the previous error message window, the note entry tool crashed with the mouse pointer in the form of the processing icon (the feathered beam note group) equivalent to the hourglass in Windows.

The note entry tool was very slow but I managed to input one note without problems. When inputting the second note this error message appeared.

This was what showed up when hitting Escape to leave the time signature tool. A LISP failure message ensued which I couldn't get a screenshot of, and then Igor Engraver crashed.

Well, Dolphin should not be blamed for not showing my file; it is Explorer in Wine, isn't it?
Ubuntu 10.04 (32-bit)

Lo and behold again! When navigating with Dolphin to the folder I saved my piece in, it is not there. Strange, because the title bar of Igor Engraver showed the file name.

The previous error message seemed worse than it was; I could just click on OK and the piece was saved. In this image I have selected the System tool button in the tool bar and further selected the top system in the score and moved it a little downward.

I thought it might be a good idea to save my recorder and vibraphone piece, but lo and behold what happened when trying to do this!
Ubuntu 10.04 (32-bit)
CrossOver 10.0.0
I tried to restart Igor Engraver and on the second attempt it was up and running again, so I created my recorder and vibraphone piece once again and opened the Score window. In this image I have selected the first treble clef.
Ubuntu 10.04 (32-bit)

This window, in the upper left corner, appeared after a while when trying to open a part layout of the piece for recorder and vibraphone. When I closed it Igor Engraver also quit.
Ubuntu 10.04 (32-bit)

After being unsuccessful with Igor Engraver installed in a Windows XP bottle I tired installing Igor in a Windows 98 bottle and things then went better. This image shows the Score window of the piece I could not open when using Igor in a Windows XP bottle. However, as you can see, the text on the title page and the instrument names on the first page of music have a music font instead of a text font, so unless you are an expert in font character numbering it is quite difficult to read.

But when opening the score and starting to write the piece I just set up, Igor Engraver crashes and shows this error message.

Here I have picked two musicians for a new piece and chosen to make a score in addition to the two parts that Igor creates automatically.

This is the so-called Piece window where you choose to open an existing music document or create a new one.
