The interior of a cabin on the ship Batavier at Christmas. In the bottom right corner is a sillhouette of my quarry - once I see them face-to-face an actual picture of them will instead appear. Every 30 seconds or so their location is updated, and I must track them. My character's portrait is seen in the top left.
The Ship is a game that runs under Steam and uses the Source engine, much like Half-Life 2. In it, you are a passenger given a free ticket aboard a luxury cruise ship. The catch, however, is that you must join "the Hunt," a morbid game run by the ship's owner, Mr. X. You either hunt and kill your quarry, or find death at the hands of another passenger trapped in the same fate as you.
