This is one of seven 2D views of the resulting surfaced lens. You may even compare two or more type of lens layout, if different material indices or surfaces where choosen. You have to enable this option (among a lot of other) on the setup menu.
Lens Calculation Package. It allows to enter data from frame shapes and parameters, prescription input, "facial" parameters in order to grind lenses to an exact diameter and thickness. Output may be both seen as data to set generators as well as 2D graphical views of the grounded lens.
