Sacred 2: Gold, which includes Sacred 2: Fallen Angel and its expansion Ice & Blood, is a Hack-n-Slash Action RPG in which you choose amongst seven distinct characters, and one of two campaigns and then let loose as your hack and slash your way what may seem like limitless quests and enemies while listening to a metal sound track. As 1UP put it "Very little in this world goes together better than power metal and slicing open demons with your Furious Blade of Glory +6."
In addition to wonderful world to fight through, Sacred 2: Gold features elements that weren't common when it came out, but are now. In particular its mana-less ability system which relies on cool downs, which can be bound together into groups for combos, or all in one lump for spamming that one spell you love. Of course it also maintains the staples of both an RPG and an hack-n-slash: Mountains of loot and character customization.
