RT3S Software (GPS Version) installs and runs fine in standalone mode but cannot connect to the radio because the USB drivers cannot be installed. They do not use a software COM port but a direct USB connection (not serial).

Customer Programming Software (CPS) provides a programming interface between a PC and a DMR radio. It comes with the radio or can be downloaded at no cost from the manufacturer. The software allows you to program the RT3S/RT3S+GPS with configuration files called codeplugs.
