This is the timer application that comes with Qucikbooks. It imports a job list generated from Quickbooks, and allows an indvidual employee to enter their own time by job information as well as detail information as to what they were doing.
Typically the accounting department/bookeeper would regularly generate an export file from Quickbooks and make it available to all employees (shared directory or email) The file is imported into the stand-alone timer program and the user enters their time data.
Once a week/month the user exports their time data to a file and sends it back to the accounting dept, where it is imported into quickbooks and used to generate billing.
Offices that use this program can keep accurate detailed time records.
