This is software needed to download the VR3 dive computer after you dive and is used to provide a more permanent record of dive histories and annotate notes on details pertaining to each dive. ProDive can also be used for uploading gas mixtures to the dive computer and to configure various options on the many menus available. This software interfaces a serial infrared link to communicate with the VR3. There is an option for a hard wire link also if the VR3 is modified to accept the hardwire I/O cable.
All in all, ProDive makes programming and using the VR3 very user friendly.
