Panzer General II

This is a turn-based strategy game covering World War II in the European theater (mostly). There are five campaigns available (two Axis campaigns, three for the Allies), covering some three dozen playable scenarios from different points of view. In each campaign, core units are carried over between scenarios, allowing the player to build up an experienced army; and how well you perform can affect the outcome of the war -- a highly successful German player can attempt the invasion of Britain, or even attack the United States mainland! Scenarios are played on hand-painted maps, each type of unit has individual sound effects for movement and shooting, and voice actors are used to give you your instructions before each battle and comment on your performance afterwards.
