An American geological expedition, under a UN mandate, assesses the natural resources in a distant part of Siberia, deep in the trackless steppes of Eastern Russia. But instead of oil, they discover a deposit of an unknown mineral.
American scientists working for Department of Defense find out that this mineral is in fact identical to the substance used to power an extraterrestrial artifact in their possession which functions as a time machine. This object is called the EON (Extraterrestrial Object Nexus).
Other factions are equally interested in the possibilities of the mineral and the EON device. Skirmishes follow soon after everyone from different futures sends their best and brightest to the distant past to claim the valuable mineral.
Every single individual under your command is valuable as people learn skills during each mission. Do you like fast or heavily armoured vehicles? Assemble your vehicles from parts you choose. Research new technologies to gain access to new vehicle parts. Tame apes to do some manual labor. All that and much more are possible in this jewel from early 2000s.
