Generating the previews takes a little while on my old notebook, but works as well as under M$ Windows.
By the way: have a look at the "RawShooter Essentials 2006 Setup and Reference Guide" to get an idea about the different views....
The main work of setting the white balance and tweaking exposure, lights and shadows is done in a great visual way....
The standard view of RawShooter may leed to an information overflow...
