QuickTime also includes a very popular 'Virtual Reality' mode which lets you view and
navigate through 360 degree panoramas. Running QuickTime in CrossOver is the only way
to see these scenes. For an example of such panoramas go to the Virtual Parks site which has
many wonderful views of American national parks.
Many other sites offer short films, movie clips in QuickTime format. For instance this 1984 Apple Commercial in iFilm's collection of Top 10 Ads of All Time.
One of the great benefits of QuickTime is that it gives you access to a wealth of high quality
movies encoded with the proprietary Sorenson Codec. For instance Apple's web site is
stocked with high quality versions of the latest movie trailers.
