The program really works: it has found the "test virus" (aka eicar) hidden in a .zip archive.
First of all CureIt performs quick scan, which is quite useless under Crossover. Though it can not be skipped, it can be terminated by clicking on the STOP button.
When CureIt starts the user is presented with the option to update the program. The virus database is embedded in the application, so it is wise to update it often.
