Adobe Audition 1.5 works great for me on Crossover 6.0. The only limitation I found is that I had to check the "Limit Playback to: 16-bit" checkbox under Options -> Device Properties.
I installed Adobe Audition 1.5 with CrossOver 6.1 on Ubuntu 7.04.
Displays and playback appear flawless. Synchronization of playback cursor and audio are very tight (far superior to running it under a VM) and scrolling during playback is very smooth.
SPECIAL SETUP NOTE: I did have to go into Options -> Device Properties [in Audition], and under "Limit Playback To:" I checked "16-bit". It might be specific to my hardware setup, but if I don't check the 16-bit box, I got horrible static upon playback. With the box checked, it sounds perfect.
In my installation, Audition 1.5 sees two wave output devices, "Wave Mapper" and "Realtek ALC655 rev 0". The exact identical behavior (static without "16-bit" checked, perfect sound with it checked) were observed with both device selections. Playback and display were also equally tight regardless of device chosen.
Disclaimer: I have not tried recording yet. (Have to dig up that mic...)
