Earlier version of Mathcad released for Windows 95/98. This was the last version of Mathcad to use the original Mathcad definitions for free variables in differential equation solving routines. It is an important release for many Mathcad users since some of the code written for use with Mathcad 7 is not forward compatible with later versions of Mathcad. Access to version 7 is therefore important for some users of this brand of software.
