LabVIEW is an engineering application which enables the user to build graphical control panels with controls and indicators, typically for process control and automation purposes.
The control panels can then be programmed, using a graphical function-block approach, to construct a complete control system running using the computer's facilities.
Enhanced versions LabVIEW provide an "Application Builder" function. This enables the complete control system to be compiled and built as an installable (*.exe) application which can be distributed. This report applies to applications which we have compiled and exported using the Windows version of LabVIEW 6i, and which we have installed and run on Linux computers.
