Hangul 2007 (also known as HWP2007) is a version of the most popular word processor in Korea. Its proprietary HWP file format is a closed standard, so despite its popularity, few, if any, applications outside Haansoft's office suites provide proper support (reverse-engineered HWP filter only supports older, obsolete format). Usual word-processing features rival that of Microsoft Word. Its notable strengths include support for Japanese, Chinese, and ancient Korean script, with necessary IMEs integrated within the application.
