Google Earth Pro is now free of charge for all users. It used to cost $400.00 USD per year, but Google decided to make it available for free of charge for all users. You will need to register your Google account in order to get the free license key at this web page:
1. https://geoauth.google.com/gev0/free_trial.html
Once you register your Google account, you'll get an e-mail message from Google to your Google Gmail e-mail address with the free license key. Follow the instructions to download, install, and register your Google Earth Pro software product for free of charge. Once you do that, you'll need to sign into your Google account and you will need to install Microsoft Framework .NET 2.0, 4.0, and 4.5. You will need to create a new WINE bottle with Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit prior to installing Microsoft Framework .NET 2.0, 4.0, and 4.5. Then, you can install Google Earth Pro and register it and log into your Google account. Use OpenGL mode within the Tools -> Options -> Graphics Mode -> OpenGL. Restart Google Earth Pro and it won't crash. Almost all of the features work right out of the box. I'm using the latest version which is 7.1.2.2041 64 bit.
