I/O error when reinserting 1st CD

I read the other thread in this forum, but I do not have a problem with Crossover seeing CDs. When prompted to insert the second CD I do and I am able to get it to load. However, before setup ends it asks for the first CD again. I insert the first CD again, but I keep receiving a disc I/O error. I installed the game to a Windows PC so I know the CDs are good. I tried to install the game under both Win98 and WinXP bottles but have the same problem.

I am using Crossover Game Mac 8.1.4 on a MacBookPro running OS X 10.6.
