SciFinder Scholar 2007 Forum

hi! Is there anybody reading this forum? I happen to be a scifinder advocate. Scifinder works for me under suse 9.1, but DOES NOT SAVE the searches. However, when I need to save I cut-and-paste from scifinder to a vi or a openoffice window.
Scifinder already worked under plain WINE, with almost no hassles (saving did not work under WINE, too).

I contacted ACS saying that scifinder worked 90% under linux, but they simply answered:

"We appreciate you sharing this information with us. I do want to reinforce to you however, that CAS does not support running SF or SFS under these conditions. We will support our product lines using the Mac (Classic) or Windows operating systems"

So we are on our own.

In addiction there should be a hidden feature that lets you use scifinder behind a proxy AFTER setting a proxy with INTERNET EXPLORER. I am about to test this feature with my other PC running windoze.

Yes, scifinder scholar works for me in crossover office 4.2, except for the saving. It wants to save in .rtf format, could it be that it needs some windows library for rich text format?
