Cannot change controller settings

If I try to change the controller settings, I can change one key. After that, I get an error saying that the key is already in use. Let's say that I wanted to change "Left" to "a". If I want to change "Right" to "d", it thinks I am still holding down "a" and gives me an error.

Well i had a kinda annoying solution... the only one i found.
It seems that the only way to change the key layout is do it one key at time, i mean, change the first key then Quit P64, re-open it change the next key then quit it again... and repeat until you remap your whole control layout... it can take a while and be extremely annoying but once its done you don't need to do it ever again...

Maybe there is other way to do it (a smart one) but at least i can guarantee you that this method works LOL

This works, but you don´t have to quit P64. Just close the controller preferences panel and play a bit, then open and change another key.
Remember to save your controller set, so that you don´t have to do it again at a later time. (Sometimes it reverts itself to factory defaults...)
