Don't feel bad, I had my own set of issues and reinstallations (about 3 - 4 times at least). Seems that upgrading to KDE 3.2 using Fedora Core rpms on RH9 kinda will mess up the font installer so it's broken. I can't do anything about that at the moment so I'm just careful not to screw with fonts in KDE's font installer or Konqueror's Services tab.
Anyway, I finally got my Linux system all configured. I have accounts for the Current Release and then another for Nightly Build for the CodeWeavers project exclusively. Plus my "main" account. And, Windows 98SE is also installed and at the ready. I'm all ready to start tesing this weekend.
I did check something out while I was setting up the Current Release account. I changed Paint Shop Pro's Temp/Undo file directory to C:\Temp and then set the permissions for everyone read/write/execute. I'm still getting the same errors that it can't create the file.
I did email jasc asking about this type of phenomena (basically, what steps were done while it was loading, and such). While I found out later the information is irrelevant, Jasc replied back basically saying they don't make PSP for Linux and have no interest in helping someone with it either. They said they are referring everyone to Frank's Corner page which I had done on installations. However, I did reply back correcting them to send them here to CodeWeavers instead.
