I used to play Left4dead on my Windows XP machine and it was great, now its slower under Mac, usng stream....Yes, It plays, yes it still a good game, but I exprience what I came lag... the framerate is like playing a online game. It also locked up on me after a while. Oh Well!!
Yep. Your FPS will always be lower under CrossOver than Windows, at least with DX9 games. As far as I know, there's nothing you can do about it, other than try to lower your graphical settings D=.

"Always"? That's a bold assertion. You sure about that?
Thinking about it, it was pretty a irresponsible affirmation. I can only speak about some source games: tf2, cs:s, l4d and l4d2 run at much lower FPS, from what I've seen.

No worries. :) it was just crushing my dreams of someday crossover being so lean that it will run games faster than Windows itself. Kinda like how crossover "boots up" and "shuts down" already faster than Windows. Realistically though, you might be right. But, I'm still looking forward to my dreams about crossover coming true someday.
