I installed ie8 with xover9.0 on ubuntu 9.10
-ie8 installation succeeded
-ie8 run ok
-but it seems it's not able to connect to internet, the home page never comes and it's unable to display any other url
-and it's impossible to close the application
Exactly the same behavior for me. Installs, never connects. Must force quit CrossOver.
CrossOver 9 Mac OS X 10.6.2
Tried both the MS installer and the "community supported" installation.

Painful to use.
you just cannot browse to another site,
or even do a meaningful search.
Certainly Not Recommended.
I have the same issue? Is anyone researching this? I have played with everything I know to with no luck.
