The web on google says that Aegis Sub can load an MKS subtitle file and export it as an SRT. Perhaps an intermediary step is needed.
My goal is to simply use Aegis as the conversion took and continue with my recode of a piece in Handbrake.
I have d/led Aegis. I found my mks file (it is not in an MKV container) but it issued an error that it could not read it.
Error message is: File has no recognized subtitle tracks. This is just a file marked .mks. How doe3s Aegis work with it at all?
To do this procedure does the media file have to be loaded? I've never seen anything as peculiart as MKS or the knowledge needed to convert something sime as a subtitle file.
Other advice appreciated if I have to seek something else.
