Flying-Model-Simulator (FMS) is a freeware radio control flight simulator. Just as in real life, the pilot's perspective is that of standing at a fixed point on the ground, watching and controlling the model as it flies. The simulation can be controlled using any valid input device (including keyboard), but one of it's main benefits is being able to train people with the hand/eye coordination required to use a digital-proportional radio controller with such model aircraft. The FMS software is often bundled with such USB based simulators of digital-proportional radio control sets.
