AXS was a fantastic softsynth inspired by the old roland tb-303 and tr-606 with integrated easy to use music tracker originally for DOS, but it was ported to windows shortly before the company went under. The installation files and some sample songs fortunately got saved by archive.org. It is very well suited for vintage dance and techno music.
