Performance on counter strike source with my ATI x1600 seems to be a little smoother. Higher FPS average I think but still FPS drops at certain parts of certain maps as usual. Hopefully future builds will make it better.

Yep, the performance improvement is one of the things this build got. I improved shader constant loading with the ARB shader extension. This extension is used on Macs(GLSL globally disabled) and on ATI cards on Linux for HL2(GLSL specifically disabled). On the Linux Nvidia driver we got a ~2% performance gain(if ARB is forced manually). On MacOS the performance gain is bigger because shader constant loading is inefficient there. In my HL2 timedemo I got an ~15% performance gain on my X1600.
The fps drop at certain parts is inherent to the game. In some cases it is worse in CrossOver than in Windows though, I hope to fix that some day(or Apple fixes it, if it is a driver bug)
With the 10.5.3 update coming hopefully very soon, I hear graphics could also be updated. As wine gets better along with mac updates, hopefully the FPS drop will fix itself over time.
performance on Guild Wars on my machine running Nvidia is better as well. Getting at least 10 fps at full detail. It's definately much smoother.
