EVE-Online; ships black with premium gfx

All the ship models in EVE are showing as black in the latest unsupported build w/premium gfx turned on -- see http://nearimpossible.com/EVE-Crossover-20080704.jpg

(in that image, you can also see the station behind me missing, but that's a bug that exists for me in previous versions)

Hi,
Thank you for the report. I have filed a blocker bug for the next supported cxgames release to look into this and fix it.

I have done a quick stupidity testing, and I cannot reproduce the issue with my current development tree. I am currently using a geforce 7 card on Linux. Can you give more information about your system?

Thanks,
Stefan

I'm running the latest unsupported Crossover Games (20080702) in Mac OS X 10.5.4; from System Profile:

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP41.00C1.B00
SMC Version: 1.28f1

And graphics:

Chipset Model: GeForce 8600M GT
Type: Display
Bus: PCIe
PCIe Lane Width: x16
VRAM (Total): 512 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID: 0x0407
Revision ID: 0x00a1
ROM Revision: 3212

Is there anything else that may be relevant?

No, "GeForce 8600M GT" should be enough for now. I'll give that a try on Monday when I am back to the office.

It's the same to me. Everything is black in premium. I'm in linux with a 7xxx nvidia series. I tried with wine-1.1.0 and it works 100%.

hi,
I've found the bug(it was one of our hacks that was superceded by a proper fix), and I fixed it in our code tree. We're currently running a beta test for a new cxgames release. While the current beta1 doesn't have the fix yet, beta2 and the final release will have it.
