How do i install Office 2007 with this latest build?

The unsupported cxgames builds do not run Office 2007. We've started a CrossOver 7.0 (non-games) beta last week. If you are an advocate you can access it at http://www.codeweavers.com/beta/crossover .

MMM I'd be interested in trying this too, but I get "access denied". Is the beta finished?

You need to be an associate to get access to the beta. See here: http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/advocate_overview/

CX 7.0 will allow you to install and run office 2007, but as I posted Excel will not allow full screen to the second monitor unless you very carefully drag it to the top of the page. See post after this one.

when i try to install office 2007 it gets as far as installing the fonts and xml parser, running the MS Office setup program asking for product key, etc and then gets about 2/3 of the way though installing at which point the CD stops spinning and it stays still forever. any ideas/suggestions ? i'm using the latest crossover 7 build (13 may) {not the games version}

Just wait for it. I had this problem. And waited for about 20 minutes. And then it finished the install. It must read all the data off the disk and then do some calculations or something underneath before it finishes. I thought it had crashed too, because nothing seemed to be happening. But just wait.
