Hello,
I am running the latest build of Crossover Linux on Linux Mint 18.1 on a custom gaming PC.
MSI Z270I Gaming Pro Carbon AC mini iTX MB
Intel i7 6700K CPU
G.SKILL TridentZ Series 32GB 3000 DDR4 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU
I purchased the game Chronicles of Riddick Assult on Dark Athena with The Butcher Bay add on from GOG.
I have installed the game in a Windows XP bottle that was created during the installation of the Steam version of Age of Empires 2 HD. The Chronicles of Riddick installs with out any errors and uses the GOG installer. The game launches and runs without any graphic anomalies and the GUI works flawlessly however there is no audio.
My PC is connected to my Yamaha AVR via HDMI and I always use the HD audio built into the Nvidia GPU which works great on both Linux as well as Windows so I do not think that this has anything to do with this game not having any audio but I mention it just in case that it might be causing it. So far all of the games that are running regardless of if the run natively on Linux or inside of Wine, web browsers and video streaming services all play with out any issues with this set up. Do any of you have any ideas how to get the audio working?
Thanks,
Robert
