I cannot install the new update 24.05. I keep getting the message "An error occurred while downloading the update". This has been happening for a long time. Where can I download the complete package?
Ich kann das neue Update 24.05 nicht installieren. Ich bekomme ständig die Meldeung "Ein Fehler trat während des Herunterladens der Aktualisierung auf".
Das passiert schon längere Zeit. Wo kann ich mir das komplette Paket runterladen?

Theoretically, you could log in and download it from within your account once it is available. The version 24.05 is currently only for Mac available as a download. The latest Linux version for download is still 24.04! That's why you get an error message. The notification you get when you open CrossOver [in Linux] is incorrect.

I get the same update message when I open Crossover 24.04 in Fedora40 offering to download to version .05 and of course it fails because 05 is not available so it appears the auto download feature does not differentiate between Mac and Linux.
This is a sad oversight, actually annoying to some and confusing to others.
How about 24.04.1 so we get an upgrade... able to know what's what's.
