The program itself works, and runs. What it can't do is restore from a backup. If you create a backup of the demo data, and then attempt to restore, the program will crash, and then close.
If you open the program again, you can see the self generated error under Admin->Errors. You'll see that it's complaining about an OLE error.
Support at Data Developments offered a Windows-only solution, suggesting that I try: regsvr32 mscomctl.ocx
I have duplicated that command using (Command:Run:cmd) in the bottle, but it hasn't fixed anything.
They have then directed me to seek support from here, so this is what I'm doing.
Is this a 64 bit program? I see they told you to run the regsrv32, just thinking that the actual backup maybe corrupt due to different bit versions.
