Hey guys, I assume this game requires DX12 as in Parallels it won't launch at all, and with DXVK it also doesn't launch. With D3DMetal it launches to the main menu, but as soon as I start a new game and the opening cutscene should load wine encounters a "serious problem". This was a couple weeks ago since I have tried it so don't have the error handy. Just looking to see if this is a known issue with this game. I have been playing it fine in Playstation Cloud through parallels but would like to run it natively through Heroic like I do on my gaming PC when I am on the go.

Got this working shortly after posting this. All I had to do was boot the exe for a specific game in heroic and rename the movie folder as those were causing it to crash.

I downloaded the Masterseries through Steam so basically KH1.5 + 2.5, KH2.8 and KH3 + ReMind.
Because of your post I was able to get through the menu screen and actually start up the game. I used this method for all games.
I only tested all versions of the games for a short period. Till first save point. Not sure if any problems occur further into these games.

KH 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix (4/6 working)
Browse through local files from Steam. Rename the STEAM folder that contains all video's OR Rename specific folders inside corresponding to the game you would like to play.

1. KH 1 FM - Able to play the game with cutscenes but the intro after renaming the first video file.
2. KH Chain of Memories - Able to play the game without cutscenes.
3. KH 358/2 Days - will start but shows only some scenes in text, no cutscenes or gameplay? Any Solutions for this?
4. KH 2 FM - Able to play the game. Shows black screen after start new game, from here you can skip scene and proceed.
5. KH Birth by sleep - Able to play the game.
6. KH Re:Coded - Will start but shows only the story in text, no cutscenes or gameplay? Any solution for this?

KH 2.8 (1/3 working)

1. KH Dream Drop Distance - Able to play the game. Even-though I rename files, cutscenes will play.
2. KH 0.2 Birth by sleep - Able to play the game.
3. KH X BackCover - Not Able to start the game. Black screen directly after game select from launcher.

KH 3 (2/2?)

1. KH3 - Able to play the game without changes to the local game files.
2. KH3 - Re:Mind - Not sure about the DLC since it unlocks after completing KH3. I assume this would also work.

Want to add, that for the EPIC version, which I have, the STEAM folder is the EPIC folder. Same steps, just different name.
