Guild wars 2 with crossover 25
Hi there.
I have issues with guild wars 2 and Crossover 25.
I have a Mac mini M2 pro. I could play with crossover 24 without any issue (as in métal mode or DXVK mode).
But with crossover 25, the Game knows graphics glitches at launch (Id / logging window) and when i’m in the game, there is a lot of stuttering wich lead unplayable game. It’s as i have 2 or 5 fps max.
This is seen whatever the graphic mode i use (métal, DXVK, auto…).
I tried to create a new bottle to re install the game, but the install Launcher crashes.

Installed V25, when starting GW2 via steam I get message from GW " Unable to initialize 3D output. Please verify that you have installed DirectX 11 and an updated video driver."
Completely broken whereas last week it was working well
Steam etc is good, but gw2 now crashes before getting to launcher.
I played myself for the last month and it was very good and today I want to run and a crash pops up I tried to reinstall but nothing helped.

EDIT: I ran the bottle repair Configure/Repair Bottles... and GW2 started and launched!!
I have an M1 Max Macbook Pro. I've also been having graphical issues on the launcher with Crossover 25, but the game itself has been playable.
Today, however, I logged in for a bit, and then after I had logged out and tried to get back on, GW2 has been crashing on start up every time.

DumpFile: Crash.dmpTrying to run the repair also crashed. I also tried creating a new bottle and it still crashed with the same error.
I wrote an email to the developer and got feedback that they reported a bug and are working on a solution to the problem, but the problem is that it is not known when they will fix it and the fact is that you buy the service for a limited time and by the release of version 25 does not work a lot of applications.
Your game was working in 24.0.7 but doesn’t work in 25.0.0? Try running your game with Crossover 24.0.7 instead of 25.0.0. You can download it from your account page:https://www.codeweavers.com/account/downloads/archive
You don’t have to uninstall 25.0.0. Just don’t run both of them at the same time.
Thank you for the information about the older version of the application, the game works on it without problems. I'll be waiting for some update of version 25. Greetings
Well it runs well on whiskey. It apparently works on yes 24.0.7. Alot of Sutter and freezes on first playtime. Maybe improves like with other games. Tried basic and DXVK with msync
EDIT: On my m4 pro base MacBook Pro, I was able to run the game on my external monitor at 1440p. Seems to run fine at medium settings (100+ fps), and bumping that up to best quality causes a lot of Frame drops. It is still playable at highest settings and seems to stay between 30 and 60 fps. I did not go to a busy town or map, however, so it's possible it will slow to a crawl
I rebuilt my crossover 25 bottles and now gw2 opens on steam. Currently running d3dmetal and msync, but I'm at the launcher downloading
