i tried to run Diablo 4 with the new released Crossover 25 but it not start at all.
After click "play" and waiting some seconds the button change to update and nothing happen.
I tried it with D3DMetal + E-Sync, and M-Sync but the same.
I use a Mac Book Air M3 with 16BG memory.
Battlenet has had issues today with their log-in servers, so that might be causing your issue. Also there have been plenty of "issues" with Battlenet constantly "updating" Diablo IV (especially with the Vessel of Hatred add-on) where it is doing "updates" much more often than would seem necessary (like almost every time you try to either start the game or exit the game).
after the release from the 24.0.7 patch which fixed for the most players the issue with Diablo 4 ( as well i used the temp Battlenet Agend trick to be able to play) i had no issues to play Diablo with Crossover 24.
As well yesterday evening after the new crossover 25 not worked i could play instantly with 24.0.7, so it looks like its related to the new version.
We aren't reproducing this issue, and since you have been downloading the trial repeatedly since 2023 without ever actually purchasing CrossOver, our support team will be unable to help you troubleshoot.
Having some login issues with D4 just now - an Error 7, to be specific.
After killing BNet and Crossover and restarting, this note from BNet popped up - looks like some issues on their end...
We are aware of an issue that is affecting our authentication servers, which may result in slow or failed login attempts. We are currently investigating the cause and will provide updates as they are available.

Bottom line is, I don't think it's Crossover 25 as an issue - I think it's on BNet's end.
the issue has fixed itself in the meantime.
It was as already mentioned a battlenet issue.
Thank You
