Hey!

I've tried launching Ubisoft Connect with Crossover Preview and the latest Crossover 24, but every time after updating the launcher the its window becomes either completely invisible or black, I can't even log into my account. Is it a known issue? And are there any possibilities to overcome this problem?

Hello, according to the compatibility database, it does not work as with version 24.x.x. I just tried it on Immortals Phoenix Rising on Steam (Using CrossOver 25 Beta) the game loaded through the Ubisoft Connect prompt. It didn't play very well but it did launch. I'm not loading these through Ubisoft Connect directly, I'm running it through Steam. So Steam > Game select > Launch > you will see the Ubisoft connect window load for a second then the game loads.

The problem I ran into was my 2 Rayman games didn't work right, they only loaded the game in the bottom left of my screen for some reason. If you are trying to load directly from the Ubisoft Connect software see the link below Crossover 24.x.x still wasn't working (and 25 Beta doesn't seem from other users in the database...) reviewers didn't leave the system specs or settings which irks me but that's about all we can get.

If you have the games through Steam try going directly with that launcher, or update to the Beta and install Ubisoft directly and give it a shot a few but again no info which isn't right... I mean Immortals is a huge game and it did load and run 100% I think it ran like garbage though as I was running it off a USB-C drive. A game that big with graphics like that I'm sure that's the problem but the Rayman games should've loaded and ran fine off of that.

Working Database

Early reports of it working in 25 Beta have come in but I'm not having much luck getting games like Rayman to launch properly through steam Ubisoft but again Phoenix Immortals Rising does work. Strange I'll submit a report as well to the database after I test more.

Running a MBP Max M4 here. and Crossover 25Beta on the latest MacOS.

Oh, I used a crosstie within Crossover to install the launcher. Sorry for not including that info. :)

I was trying to start the launcher via Crossover Preview, but with no luck. (I have some games in Ubisoft Connect, that's why I can't, unfortunately, use Steam to launch them–need at first to download them with the Ubisoft launcher.) But you've said you use a crosstie. I don't know how to use this function properly: Could you please explain how to do this in this case? :)

To use a crosstie simply look for the app in crossover (the main window) those are crossties, select the app and install it using that icon. If this is confusing, as it can be, I can post screenshots for you. Just remember you need the beta for 25 for Ubisoft to work ;) if you need a download link let me know I’m happy to help!
