Still issues with Diablo IV VofH

I have installed the lastest Crossover update Version 24.0.7 (24.0.7.37107) - iMac M3, 16GB Ram and running Sequoia 15.3 (24D60) - Battlenet "will" update itself and Diablo IV VofH BUT it will do almost constant updates of Diablo IV and many times when I start Diablo there will be no sound on the flash screens. That generally means if I allow the game to start it will also have no sound. Exiting goes fine but always requires another "update", sometimes several before the sound will come back.
And my last session with Diablo resulted in one of the dreaded "transporting" freeze ups after only two transports.
I really wish that Crossover can figure out what is going on with it and Battlenet because it is annoying because once the game runs it is running great.
Thanks for reading and listening.

Hi Steve what are your bottle settings? As of now since the update to Crossover (and the false flag D4 updates in b.net), I've been running full bore graphically and audio-wise.

The settings on my bottle are:

D3DMetal / ESync / Hi-Res Mode (you may not want to do this with your Mac the hi-res one)

Running on a MBP Max 64GB M4

If those are not the settings you are using give them a shot and see how it goes :)

OH for no sound you'll probably have to set that at the in-game menu (where you select your character hit esc then set it) to the sound output you are using (stereo, Headset, Built-in speakers, etc.) I have to do that a lot because I jump between my stereo and my AirPods.

Aside from the Hi-Res mode, my bottle settings are the same. (I tried the Hi Rez but didn't see enough of an improvement to keep it.)
I thought I had selected Mac Speakers previously, but now I see it was back to default, so I switched it back to Mac Speakers but I seem to remember having the sound issue before all the recent "updates" also. We shall see but thanks.

Don't feel bad about the sound it's been like that for me since I started playing D IV on the Mac. I don't know why it does that but it does. :( I'm glad you have it working from the sounds of it! (no pun intended)
