Hello. I have a new Mac Mini Pro M4, and installed crossover and crossover preview. (I found that crossover preview works much better for the games, maybe due to the M4 chip?)

One odd thing is that in steam, every keyboard press is being doubled. For example, if I type abc, I get aabbcc. This only occurs in the preview version. In addition, when I went into Halo MCC and had to type my microsoft account, it did not double up, it only was in the steam app, and only the preview version.

Is there any settings to check to try and fix this? I didn't see any posts of anyone else having this problem, or any solutions.

I am now using the release version of Crossover 25, and still have the same issue. Has anyone else figured out anything?

Just updated to version 25. Not a gamer, but every keystroke is doubled in my apps.

I contacted support, they asked if i was using a bluetooth or built in keyboard. (Mac mini with apple keyboard with touch id.)

Have you submitted a ticket as well?

This sounds like a keyboard issue. I have run into the same issue on a Windows system using a USB and a wireless one. It could be the USB port or even the batteries are low (in wireless kb of course). Has anyone tried a completely different keyboard (connection type probably doesn't matter) ?. Plug a different keyboard in and restart the system. Maybe also check keyboard setup in System settings.

Just got this bug as well on both the preview version + latest version. I've tried out my Wooting Keyboard, Native Mac keyboard, Logitech keyboard, and yeah. None of them works, and i'm constantly double typing letters. I had to make a quick python script to fix this, but its so bad still.

Having the same issue here as well. Tried USB cable and everything like that but still nothing.
Using Mac Mini M4 Pro.
