I have 500 GB of free space yet I'm unable to install RDR2 due to insufficient space. How come?

Sad, because I need an answer to this as well!

Sometimes it seems like Crossover detects the need for new / more space and assigns it dynamically. And then sometimes... Not.
I would DEARLY love some input for these "not" circumstances, so I can fix things myself.

Don't know which launcher you're using but I recently got a bug in EA APP where it didn't detect the free space. I had 1660GB but it said only 90GB. The solution I found was to go to Wine config settings and add a new drive and choose the target folder directly. Remember also that you sometimes need double the required space for installation so in the case of RDR 2 you may need 300GB.

I would put in a support ticket you'll probably hear from them late Monday or Tuesday at some point. I would also like to know. I just started putting all my Steam games onto a 4 TB USB-C drive that way if something happens to Steam I don't need to reinstall all my games. But that may not be your solution :(
