Hi all! I'm still noticing on both CrossOver and CrossOver Preview that my mouse pointer continue to appear even if the game is full screen.
Is it a know issue or does it happens only with few titles?
Mmmm I've tried to take a screenshot bit the mouse pointer was not visible in the screenshot. Maybe next time I will take a photo.
Usually if you change resolution or hit "esc" and go in game menu, after returning to game the mouse pointer disappear for a while.
Also the game loose the mouse if you have universal control. CrossOver should keep the mouse pointer inside, maybe with accessibility or other options that should be requested by the app.
I confirm it is happening in other titles as well. It seems after a while the macOS mouse pointer appear on screen.
The only app I have which could be doing something related is SteerMouse.
I've tried to run games without Steam and it seems it happens much more less. I'm reporting this thing to Codeweavers, but they did not have other reports, so I invite you to do the same, maybe we can find the cause.
Thanks. I will gather some stats, and report to Code Weavers as well. So far I've been trying to optimize for FPS, but I do think that when this mouse issue happens it also hurts FPS somehow.
Did you see that there is a wine property for the bottle that allows for mouse locking. I haven't noticed much difference with that, but a comprehensive investigation should include that setting as well.
