Auto Save

Hello,

I'm trying to run a VERY old Windows 95 game, the Tamagotchi CD-ROM, on a Mac running Lion. I can successfully install the game and run it perfectly, but this is a game that runs in real time with no manual save option, and once I quit CrossOver, all my data is lost. When I enter the game again, it's back to the beginning (the unhatched egg, for anyone who is familiar with the game). My guess is that the program is looking for a folder that's not there, but I have no idea where it's looking or what I can do to fix it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

... typically the installation procedure would take care of
creating runtime directories as required, so I doubt it's that...

... the behavior is somewhat reminiscent of that displayed by
RCT2 (rollercoaster tycoon 2), wherein that game cannot load/save
your parks/progress, unless you have 'emulate virtual desktop'
enabled in winecfg. It'd be something to try ; both games are
mooted in the same era of time (and you may need to use a win98
bottle type for this)...

.
