There are some known Lion problems with the existing releases of CrossOver.
We expect to have a Lion-compatible build of CrossOver out when Lion is officially released, but in the meantime it's a moving target. (For example, CrossOver 10.0.3 had some fixes to make it work on an early preview of Lion, but then Lion changed and broke things again.)
I definitely hope there's some lion support in the near future... I switched to DP4 and am missing my games :D
Also Beyond Compare 3 doesn't run in Crossover on OSX 10.7 (works fine on 10.6.7).
Hopefully it can be resolved.
Thanks
Gary
Now that The Gold Master of 10.7 is out to developers, any eta for a test version?
I have Lion GM installed and the latest version of Crossover Games crashes immediately after I select 'Try Now'
I don't really want to move completely from Snow Leopard until this is fixed.
GM is supposedly the version which will be released, although of course we can't be certain Apple won't find some bugs and make slight changes.
I used to be able to play Serious Sam on my Mac, but now it's hopeless. Anyone know when an update to Crossover Games is due out and if it'll make any difference?

We just upgraded CrossOver (10.1.1) and CrossOver Games (10.1.2). If you don't have these versions, it could likely affect your mileage with CrossOver.
I just upgraded to this new version and the problems persist. No DirectX application will work in Crossover Games Mac (10.7 Lion). However, DirectDraw does work. For example: I can run Diablo 2 in DirectDraw view, but but when I switch it to Direct3D, it crashes on launch.

Hello
I cannot seem to get anything to work since Lion which yes I have updated Crossover for, running 10.1.2.
Well I say anything, only one things loads and runs and that it Steam.
Anything that should work shows an icon in the dock then just shuts down.

I assume you mean CXG 10.1.1 ... (I'm not aware of a 10.1.2 version)
I have had no problems running either LOTRO or DDO under Lion with CXG 10.1.1
Correction... I just noticed there is a 1.1.2 in my download center... but not in the beta center...
Ok... I FINALLY downloaded 10.1.2... must be incredible ISP/Backbone issues because of storms tonight... after 20 minutes instead of the usual 5.
At any rate. So far LOTRO has worked fine. Launched, etc. Only have 5 minutes in-game so far, but other than that 10.1.2 seems to work with no problems.

No such luck here. Pylotro launches, but after login, Crossover Games crashes.
Edit:
This was in a virtual desktop (got that recommended somewhere). The game appears to run in full screen.

Ah ha! What you have there is a Lion bug. CrossOver Games 10.1.1 exposes that bug and we did release know that bug existed. BUT, last week we released CrossOver Games 10.1.2 which resolves that bug. If your support is current, you should have no trouble upgrading to the latest version where you can again play in windowed mode.
Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.

i am trying to play both star wars:kotor and kotor 2. neither works with lion 10.7 and cxg 10.1.2 for me.
in windowed mode, i get to the start menu (curiously, the start movies are not visible any more) and then cog crashes.
in full mode, it freezes the whole mac and the only way around is to switch it off manually.
EDIT: I have applied the workaround described in this website, editing the conf file, and the game starts in windowed mode as before.
Sorry for the wrong post and thanks for the support
Are you running an ATI Mac?
If so, I would suggest for the time being trying to disable the "UseGLSL" key. Instructions are here:
http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/faq/cxgamesmac_enableglsl
It won't make everything perfect, but it may take care of some of the strangeness you are seeing.
If you are not on an ATI Mac, I suggest you write in a support ticket. Give us your Mac specs so we can attempt to recreate what you are seeing.
I'm holding off on getting Lion until I'm sure crossover games will work.

CXG works fine with Lion... I've been running LOTRO with CXG/Lion since the day Lion was released.
