Hello, ist it possible to set up a memory swap file with for example 16GB for the crossover bottle?
There are no advanced windows settings available... is there any other way?
Or does Mac OS dictate the SWAP usage?

I'm not sure what's the idea behind this?
Why do you want to use swap instead of memory, and why should CrossOver handle this?
Can you explain the idea and usage for me?

Ben, as far as your Mac is concerned it is running a Mac-native application, it doesn't "know" that it is running a Windows application. And the Windows application thinks it is running on a Windows box booting Windows, it doesn't "know" it is running on a Mac booting MacOS. All the memory usage is managed by MacOS, you neither can nor would you want to set up memory swap files as one might have to if actually running Windows in some sort of virtual machine environment. Crossover is a form of WINE, and Wine Is Not an Emulator.
