Will Crossover for Linux support ElementaryOS given it is built on an Ubuntu base ?
It is too much money for any software. And well virtualization is still an option. While not the most comfortable it is free and it works

If ElementaryOS is buit on an Ubuntu base, problably yes. You can donwload the trial version and check if it works for you.

You can also use wine. It is free. More than virtualization. But CrossOver has its advantages. And Codeweavers is responsible for a great amount of contribuitions to the wine project. Making more people free from non-free operating systems is worth its value, at least for me.
