Avowed is giving a GameRepair.EXE has encountered a serious Problem and needs to close.

• Game will not finish the update. Stuck in the update loop.
• Running from Avowed-Win64-Shipping.exe, game will boot and take you to the startup, but won't enable you to get past the login screen for the game.
• Trying to run from the Avowed.exe it will request the C++ runtimes although both are installed.

Any suggestions?

Same here.
Some players have solved the issue in Diablo IV by change the version of "Agent" in BattleNet folder. (search Biablo IV crossover issue Battle Net on Internet). I tried this with Avowed but It didn't launch...
